WHAT ARE OUR ETHICAL PRINCIPLES?
There are strict standards that must be adhered to for any cotton in a product to obtain Organic or Fair-trade certified cotton status. We only source products or brands that have at least one of the certifications listed below. We also want to support small community projects that have an obvious social benefit to the producers, and so source these from small cooperatives with transparent and socially just trading ethics that we ensure adhere to the 10 standards of fair trade as listed by the WFTO. Products produced in Europe do not require the above certification but the raw materials still need to be organic or fairly traded or Fair-trade certified cotton. Where applicable, the certification granted to each individual is clearly marked next to the item description.
As a company we also try to be as eco-friendly as possible; we re-use as much packaging as we can, we always recycle, we try to use sustainable packaging as much as possible and we print as little as possible to avoid unnecessary paper.
